I’ve just read this BBC News article about former Beatle Paul McCartney and how he used artificial intelligence to create what he calls “the final Beatles record”. He told BBC Radio 4’s Today program that the technology was used to “extract” John Lennon’s voice from an old demo so he could complete the song. He also stated that the song is to be released this year and, although not specifying its name, it is likely to be a 1978 Lennon composition called Now And Then.
