Last night I came across lofi air traffic control, a website where one can listen, at the same time, to good lofi music mixed with live radio communication between aircraft pilots and airports traffic control towers. Created by Yvonne, who, according to her site, is “a private pilot who listens to a LOT of lofi/ background music when studying”, the result is extremely relaxing and helpful to read, study or sleep. Before this novelty, if I wanted to tune into an airport vibe, I could listen to the Terminal A background sound generator in MyNoise, which, by the way, is also great.
